Nour El Kattan in Genova, Italy

At first when I applied as an EP in AIESEC Cairo University and there was always this slogan 'life changing experience'. I couldn't perfectly understand what it meant, but now after taking part, I've understood that this experience can truly change your life. My internship was in italy(genova) in a social bussiness challenge project and it was one of the most interesting things that I have ever done in my life :) We had three events , their aim was to collect money for south africa for charity in association with cesvi http://www.cesvi.org/?pagina=
pagina_generica.php&id=116

At first, I was so afraid that I won't be able to fit and that I will have a big communication problem with all the other EP's from totally different cultures and places. Surprisingly, the italians were very friendly and all the aisecers in italy 'genova' were really helpful and were always with us trying their best for this to work. Also, we all got together, helping each other, sharing things, chatting, having great parties.

In a very short period, these people not only became my close friends but we became a big family. We had lovely dinners together every night with someone cooking something from their own country, which was always amazing :).
Trying our best for our project to succeed.. exploring genova and having a blast I have never had such a great time in my whole life and now since I'm back home, I always think about the wonderful times I had and the people I lived with for 45 days. Simply, this experience has changed a lot in my personality and in the way I think.  I feel that I have gained more experience and confidence like never before.

Thank you so much AIESEC Cairo University and AIESEC Genova for giving me such a great oppurtunity, and for all the effort each one of you did to make this work :)
